MoneyKey Login and Account Access
To access your MoneyKey account, visit secure.moneykey.com/login and enter your registered email address and password. Through your account portal, you can view your loan balance and payment schedule, make payments, request additional funds (if eligible), and review your transaction history.
If you have forgotten your password, click the "Forgot Password?" link on the login page to reset it. For account activation issues or other login problems, contact MoneyKey customer service at 1-866-255-1668.
Common Customer Service Issues
Based on customer reviews and BBB complaints, the most common issues people contact MoneyKey about include understanding payment breakdowns (how much goes to principal versus interest), requesting payment schedule changes, disputing charges or fees, requesting account closure, and resolving login or account access problems.
Tips for Contacting MoneyKey
For the fastest response, call during weekday morning hours when call volume is typically lower. Have your account number and personal identification ready when calling. For complex issues, email may be more effective as it creates a written record of your communication. If you have a billing dispute, document everything and consider filing a complaint with the BBB or CFPB if the issue is not resolved.
What to Prepare Before You Call
MoneyKey’s customer service representatives are able to help fastest when you have the following information ready before the call:
- Your loan or account number (visible in your online account portal and on any recent statement).
- The last four digits of your Social Security number for identity verification.
- Your date of birth.
- The email address associated with your account — especially important if you have moved and changed phone numbers.
- A brief written summary of what you’re trying to resolve — representatives typically resolve issues faster when the caller can describe the situation in a sentence or two rather than a long explanation.
Payment Assistance and Hardship Options
If you are struggling to make a scheduled payment, contact MoneyKey before the due date rather than after. Lenders are often able to offer flexibility, but only if they hear from you before the payment fails. Options that may be available include a one-time due-date adjustment (pushing the payment out by 3–7 days), a partial-payment arrangement, or in some cases a temporary hardship reduction. Do not simply skip the payment: a failed ACH withdrawal triggers a returned-payment fee from MoneyKey (typically $15–$30) and often a separate NSF fee from your own bank ($27–$35 on average), and it can begin a collections timeline that damages your credit.
If you have already missed a payment, calling within the first 7 days after the missed date is usually more productive than waiting, because the account has not yet been assigned to a collections queue.
How to Request a Payoff Quote
To pay your loan off in full — either from your own funds or by refinancing through a lower-cost lender — you can request a 10-day payoff quote from customer service. The quote will show the exact amount required to close the account, including principal and interest accrued to the payoff date. Because MoneyKey’s installment loans use simple-interest accrual, paying off early always saves you interest — there are no prepayment penalties. Refinancing a high-APR MoneyKey balance into a 36% credit-union personal loan, if you qualify, typically saves several hundred dollars per $1,000 borrowed.
Requesting Account Closure
Once your balance is paid to zero, the account remains open for potential re-borrowing unless you specifically request closure. To close the account, contact customer service by phone or email and state clearly that you want the account marked closed. Ask for a written confirmation to be sent to your email within 30 days. Closing a paid-off installment loan account has minimal effect on your credit score, since it is not a revolving credit line. For a MoneyKey or CC Flow Line of Credit, however, closing an account with a long history can shorten your average account age and marginally reduce your score.
Disputes: The Escalation Path
If you have a billing dispute that MoneyKey’s customer service does not resolve to your satisfaction, there is a defined escalation path:
- Request a supervisor on your next call and ask that the dispute be logged as a formal complaint with a case number.
- Send a written dispute by certified mail to the Wilmington, DE address above, with copies of any supporting documentation. Written disputes create a paper record that is more difficult to lose.
- File a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) at consumerfinance.gov/complaint. The CFPB forwards complaints to the company and requires a response, typically within 15 days.
- File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, which is publicly visible on MoneyKey’s BBB profile.
- File a complaint with your state’s Department of Financial Institutions or Attorney General’s consumer protection division, which handles licensing-related concerns.
Fraud and Identity Theft
If you believe someone has taken out a MoneyKey loan in your name without your consent, or if you suspect fraudulent activity on your account, call the toll-free number immediately and ask to speak to the fraud team. You should also place a fraud alert on your credit files with all three credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion), file a report at IdentityTheft.gov, and file a police report in your local jurisdiction. Keep copies of every document.
What MoneyKeyUSA Cannot Help With
MoneyKeyUSA.com is not the lender. We are an independent review site and we cannot access your account, process payments, adjust your due date, waive fees, or discuss any personal account information. All customer service matters must be handled with MoneyKey directly at the contact points listed above. If you have received a scam call or text claiming to be from MoneyKey and asking for upfront payment, gift cards, or cryptocurrency, that is a scam — report it to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
