Important Note: We Are Not a Lender

MoneyKeyUSA.com is an independent consumer finance review and comparison publication. We are not affiliated with MoneyKey Inc., we do not fund loans, and we do not access, process, or hold consumer applications or account information. If you need help with an account or loan directly with the lender MoneyKey, please contact them at 1-866-255-1668, email [email protected], or use the customer portal at moneykey.com. Their customer service hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern Time.

Because we are not the lender, we cannot look up your loan balance, process payments, adjust due dates, discuss payoff amounts, verify identity for account access, or resolve billing disputes. Any message we receive on those topics will be politely redirected to the correct lender channel, and we will not retain the details.

What We Can Help With

Our team can respond to the following types of messages:

  • Corrections and factual errors. If a rate, term, state list, or licensing detail is out of date or inaccurate, tell us the page URL, the specific claim, and (if possible) a link to the primary source that supports the correction. We aim to review and act on correction requests within 3 business days.
  • General questions about lending concepts. If a section of a guide is unclear, we may be able to point you to a longer explanation on the site or add clarification in a future update. We do not, however, offer personalized financial advice; for individualized guidance, contact a nonprofit credit counselor accredited by the NFCC or the FCAA.
  • Editorial feedback. If a piece feels one-sided, missing context, or hard to follow, we take that seriously. Editorial feedback is reviewed at our monthly content-quality meeting.
  • Advertising and partnership inquiries. We accept a limited number of affiliate partnerships in the consumer lending space, subject to our editorial independence policy. Business inquiries should include the company name, product type, target states, and preferred contact.
  • Press and speaking requests. Journalists writing about high-cost consumer lending, state APR caps, or credit-builder alternatives can request commentary or data from our editorial team.

What Happens With Your Message

All incoming email is handled by our editorial operations lead. Messages are triaged by category (correction, question, feedback, business). Corrections are logged in our internal accuracy log and, when accepted, produce a dated update on the affected page’s footer. Feedback is anonymized before it enters our monthly review. We do not share your email address with third parties, we do not add contacts to marketing lists, and we do not use your message for any purpose other than responding to you and improving our content.

Reporting a Scam Impersonating MoneyKey or MoneyKeyUSA

If you have received a call, text, or email claiming to be from MoneyKey demanding upfront payment, gift cards, wire transfers, or cryptocurrency, that is a scam. MoneyKey does not require upfront payment to release a loan, and neither MoneyKey nor MoneyKeyUSA will ever ask for gift cards. Report the incident to the Federal Trade Commission at ReportFraud.ftc.gov, to the CFPB complaint database, and to your state attorney general. If you have already sent money, contact your bank or payment provider immediately and file a police report.

Complaints About MoneyKey

Complaints about MoneyKey’s products, servicing, or collections practices should be filed directly with the lender, and if unresolved, escalated to the following regulators. The CFPB accepts consumer complaints on installment loans and lines of credit and typically forwards them to the company for a response within 15 days. State financial regulators (each state’s Department of Financial Institutions or equivalent) handle licensing complaints. The Better Business Bureau collects complaints and displays them on the company’s BBB profile.

Accessibility

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards across the site. If you encounter a page that is difficult to use with a screen reader, keyboard navigation, or high-contrast mode, please write to us with the page URL and a description of the barrier, and we will prioritize a fix.
